This policy explains what personal information we collect through aquafilterwarehouse.eu, why we collect it and what we do with it.

Aqua Filter Warehouse is a trading name of NuAqua Filtration Ltd, registered in Ireland under company number 767959, at Nesta Business Centre, Kylemore Road, Inchicore, Dublin D10 CA33, Ireland. WHAT WE COLLECT

When you visit the site. Your browser and device type, your IP address, which pages you look at and how you arrived. This is collected using cookies and similar technologies by Shopify, which hosts this store, and by Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager.

When you place an order. Your name, billing address, delivery address, email address, phone number and payment details. Payment details are handled by our payment providers and are not stored by us.

When you contact us. Your name, your email address and whatever you write in the message.

When you sign up for emails. Your email address.

To take, process and deliver your order, and to arrange installation where that applies
To contact you about your order, including delivery updates and installation dates
To answer questions you send us
To send marketing emails, where you have asked for them
To screen orders for fraud, and to meet our legal and tax obligations

INFORMATION LEAVING THE EEA

Some of these providers are based outside the European Economic Area. Where your information is transferred outside the EEA it is done under the safeguards GDPR allows, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
Order and payment records: six years from the end of the tax year the order falls in, which is the period Irish tax law requires us to keep business records for.
Installation and warranty records: kept for the same six years, which comfortably covers the warranty period on anything we fit.
Enquiries that do not lead to an order: twelve months.
Marketing contacts: until you unsubscribe, after which we keep a record of your unsubscribe so that we do not email you again.
YOUR RIGHTS

Under GDPR you have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. To do any of these, email info@nuaqua.ie.

You also have the right to complain to the Data Protection Commission, the Irish supervisory authority, at dataprotection.ie.

COOKIES

This site uses cookies that are necessary for it to work, such as remembering what is in your basket, along with analytics cookies from Google. You can control cookies through your browser settings and refuse the non-essential ones. Refusing necessary cookies may stop parts of the site working.

CHILDREN

This site is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
