The CLACK cabinet softener deals with limescale everywhere, and an Ecosoft five stage reverse osmosis system under the sink deals with what you drink and cook with. The price includes both systems, the tap, the tank and the installation.

The CLACK cabinet water softener

A compact cabinet softener built around the CLACK control valve, a premium valve that has been in the industry for 20 years and has a reputation for reliability. It meters your water use and only regenerates when it needs to, which keeps salt use down. It removes 100% of the limescale from the water coming into the house, so every tap, shower, appliance and the heating system downstream is protected.

The Ecosoft five stage reverse osmosis system

Water passes through five stages in turn, and comes out of its own tap beside your existing one.

1. 20 micron sediment filter. Takes out sand, silt, rust and visible particles
2. Granular activated carbon. Reduces chlorine, pesticides and organic compounds
3. Carbon block. A second pass at chemicals and taste
4. VonTron 75 GPD reverse osmosis membrane. Removes up to 99.8% of the remaining dissolved solids
5. Coconut carbon post filter. Polishes taste and odour on the way to the tap

The unit is 414 mm high, 422 mm wide and 135 mm deep, and the tank is 32.5 cm high and 20 cm across. Together they fit under most kitchen sinks. Operating pressure is 1.8 to 6 bar. Odourless, BPA free construction.

Before we install

To keep the visit quick and tidy, please have the following ready:

• A fixed, compliant electrical socket near where the softener will go. We do not carry out electrical work
• A wastewater outlet within about 60 cm of the softener
• Mains pressure between 1.8 and 6 bar for the reverse osmosis system
• We may drill a small hole through the back wall for a safety overflow

Installation is included for addresses in Ireland. Once you order we text you a date and time, and if it does not suit, text back and we will move it.

Questions

What is the difference between this and the six stage bundle?

The six stage adds a mineral filter after the membrane that puts calcium and magnesium back into the water for a rounder taste. Both purify to the same standard. If you like the taste of mineral water, choose the six stage. If you just want clean water, this one does that for €50 less.

Do I need to buy anything else?

No. The checkout total covers both systems, the tank, the tap, the filters and the installation.
